Hancock County Public Library is a library system with two branch locations and a Bookmobile.

The library location in Hawesville serves as the main library with administrative offices housed at this location. This location sits within the city limits of Hawesville.

The Bookmobile serves as our traveling branch and utilizes our main library facilities as its home base with specific storage and parking for the Bookmobile. 

When you have a library card from the HCPL you have the convenience of using that library card at any of the locations.

All HCPL locations continue to adapt and improve each year while providing inspiring opportunities to Hancock County citizens.
