Hancock County Public Library held the official ribbon cutting and Grand Opening of the new Lewisport Branch Library on June 26, 2021.
The celebration included a flag raising ceremony, music, and refreshments and brought many smiles and well wishes.
We were honored to have visitors from the Governor’s Office, our construction group, and Green River Area Development District, and a wonderful crowd of people.
In the month of July, the Lewisport Branch had more than 900 visitors! We look forward to many years of service to our community with the new Lewisport Branch.
